Modeling was my career choice at 14, an industry that revolves around comparisons. The pressure to have a slim physique and a young face was intense, and it led me down a path of disordered eating and an unhealthy obsession with healthy eating, exercise, and body image. I realized that I needed to change something in my life, so I embarked on a journey of self-discovery. Through many spiritual, scientific, and psychological paths, I learned to confront the deepest and most painful parts of myself. Now, I want to share my story with those who feel lost and empty, struggle with emotional eating and body image issues, and are consumed by the diet culture.
